In my business I have the misfortune of hearing about many violent attacks, rapes, muggings, etc.
People always ask themselves “why did this happen?”
I’m not sure anyone can answer that on a deep level; it certainly has to do with the morality and mental stability of the offender and of our society in general.
However when a criminal looks at you as a victim there are one of three things (or all three) they want:
#1 They want your property
This is seen in the classic example of a drugy needing his fix. He waits for someone to go to the ATM and then robs them at gunpoint, knife, etc.
#2 They want your body
This is a classic rape or severe beating scenario. This is a crime of power. Someone wants to feel they have power over others.
#3 They want your life
These individuals have no other motivation than to hurt or murder someone. They literally get-off on causing someone else pain, humiliation or death. They may indeed rob, mug or rape you as a part of their joy-ride.
Understanding these three types of motivations can help you to understand how to prepare to defend yourself against these hideous crimes.
People must fully be aware that in scenarios #2 and #3, you are not getting away from this situation unharmed unless YOU TAKE ACTION!
In scenario #1 you might just get hit over the head and have your car, wallet or other property stolen. But… can you tell the difference between a mugger who only wants your wallet and will let you go or the one who wants your wallet and then also wants to beat or rape you?
In the heat of the moment you will not be able to decide.
Another thing to consider is if you live in a state that has a 3 strikes law. Meaning that if a criminal gets caught for certain crimes 3 times they will automatically get a life sentense. In other words if someone robs you and gets caught the 3rd time or kills you it really does not matter to them.
If you are like me, these statistics will make you sick to your stomach.
I can tell you that my family will be prepared for violence if it ever rears it’s ugly head; which as you can tell from these statistics is very likely.
Aware, Armed, Ready!
If these statistics concern you (we didn’t even talk about muggings, home invasions, car jackings, physical attacks and murders) then contact me about my extremely effective self-defense system. Men and women can be prepared to defend themselves.
Never take these things lightly! I have known too many people who did and after the fact they wish they didn’t.
